i actually have no good reason to enjoy this song. i don’t relate at all to living in tennesse and wanting to move to LA to be gay, and having a mother who would be horrified to see me going from being a feminine girl to dancing at the club as a drag queen or whatever. but i really respect it and the emotion of the song comes through really well
