first half of the movie was really good i think the back half falls off its a bit too disney/musical cheesy for my taste. dont even get me started on the baby delivery scene. all is well is fun and then gets annoying the movie was at its strongest when there were stakes and the wins feel earned. joy’s suicide, pia’s brother’s suicide reveal, farhan finally pushing for being a photographer. the machine scene and ranchos views on education i wish that they had explored the privilege thing they almost set up with rancho, but then it turned out he was also poor overall good movie and i think as a kid i absorbed a lot of messaging from it but above caveats hold
